Family Affair
S01E20 A Helping Hand
In this episode, the family discovers that while lending a hand is noble, it has its limits. Mr. French assists a struggling maid by concealing her housekeeping blunders, but the facade crumbles when she’s hired by a guest hosting a party. She ultimately loses her job and directs her frustration at Mr. French. Meanwhile, Bill steps in to complete the twins' school project, taking all the credit for himself. Cissy reflects on the significance of family involvement, sharing that they lacked that support back in Terre Haute.
