S02E02 Time for Sacrifice

Achilles' mother, the sea nymph Thetis, unwittingly influences his decision when she reveals that his destiny is in his own hands. He can choose to fight and achieve eternal glory, but at the cost of an early death, or he can opt for a long life surrounded by family, fading into obscurity. Without hesitation, Achilles decides to join the Greek troops. Meanwhile, the seer Calchas uncovers that the goddess Artemis is blocking the ships from departing due to Agamemnon's offense. To gather the mightiest fleet to sail against Troy, Agamemnon resolves to sacrifice his daughter, Iphigenia.
