Kay Baker, a third-grade teacher and single mother of two from Lithia, Florida, was discovered in her neighbor's yard, fatally injured with a slashed throat. When the police responded, they conducted a thorough search of her home and noticed a blood trail leading outside. Utilizing a K-9 unit and infrared from a helicopter, they embarked on a tense search. Eventually, they located a man suffering from injuries in the nearby woods and took him into custody as a potential suspect.
