S01E01 Max

Max Brod, a prominent writer and editor, finds himself at a crossroads when he decides to defy his late friend Franz’s wishes. Despite promising to destroy all unpublished manuscripts after Franz’s passing, Max takes a stand to preserve his friend’s legacy. As World War II looms, he secures the precious writings and boards the final train departing from Prague, determined to protect them from being lost to history.
