Near Syracuse University, a basement joint stuffs waffles with turkey fixings. Albuquerque bakes a turkey-shaped bread. The Big Easy offers a Cajun Thanksgiving with oyster stuffing. Detroit's Supino Pizzeria smokes pulled turkey legs on the City Wing Thing pizza. Milwaukee's Comet Cafe delivers compact but complete turkey dinners. Back in Albuquerque, a North Valley spot makes a turkey avocado sandwich. And in Glendale, a BBQ champion smokes whole turkeys low and slow.
