Three murders have occurred, and James is still being held by the police, yet the investigation is far from organized. With Ian gone, Ruth is taken off the murder squad and returns to her regular patrol, facing the harsh reality that she may never uncover Cal's killer. In the meantime, Eli goes to see his father in prison to share some shocking and unwanted information.
