S01E15 The Illusion of Black Gold
Tony Blake orchestrates an elaborate illusion to make it seem as if Alexander Polchek, a Soviet scientist, has been murdered, allowing him to assume a new identity and escape danger. However, a security breach reveals the plan, and a group of kidnappers seizes the opportunity, abducting the scientist. They intend to auction off his groundbreaking method for extracting oil from shale rock. The episode kicks off with what looks like a meticulously planned assassination during a public press conference, but in truth, Tony is working to protect the scientist from those who would do him harm.
