Akira unexpectedly encounters Aika, who has just broken up with her boyfriend. She confronts him about knowing his hidden feelings for her, especially after he fibs about being single. Although Aika cheekily offers him a taste of her drool, he hesitates, realizing it could jeopardize his relationship with Mikoto. The following day, Aika approaches Mikoto, inviting her to the culture festival at her school, mentioning Akira might attend. Later that evening, Aika feigns an injury to lure Akira into going to the festival as her pretend boyfriend. As he scrambles for excuses in front of Mikoto, she uncovers the truth through Ayuko. On Sunday at the festival, Aika surprises everyone by donning her old middle school uniform.
