Reggie forms an unexpected bond with her friend Sara's husband, Richard. While dining with another couple, Becker, Reggie's partner, gets an urgent page and hastily departs, leaving his credit card behind to cover the bill. Shortly after, Sara also dashes off to care for their children, leaving Richard to share the evening with Reggie.
