Stan and Pat hustle to get Tanana ready as a checkpoint for the Iditarod dogsled race. Meanwhile, Charlie and Bob set out to track down a grizzly bear that has been causing trouble for a nearby miner's camp. At the same time, Joe is eager to train his new dog to become a reliable hunting companion.
