Cate and Baze are stunned when they get called into the principal's office at Lux's school, only to find out that Lux is struggling academically and needs to drastically raise her grades to avoid expulsion. At the same time, Cate faces the tough challenge of job hunting after an unexpected setback at work, while Baze, wanting to step up and take charge of his life, decides to apply for a job at his father's company.
