S02E02 Split Second to an Epitaph
Ironside becomes the sole observer of a homicide but is rushed into surgery shortly after the crime. The killer is intent on ensuring he doesn’t survive his hospital stay. As the Chief contemplates the hope of regaining his ability to walk, his time in the hospital inadvertently allows him to assist other patients in resolving their personal struggles. Meanwhile, Ed, Eve, and Mark grapple with their anxiety and concerns for the Chief as the attempts on his life grow increasingly dangerous.
