S03E06 Aunt Janet's Rebellion
Title: Aunt Janet's Stand Plot: The Women's Suffrage Movement arrives in Avonlea, igniting a fire in Janet after she listens to a passionate suffragette. Inspired, she sets out to gather signatures for a petition advocating for women's voting rights. However, her enthusiasm creates tension at home and stirs unrest at the McCorkindale cannery as she pushes for better wages. When her activism lands her behind bars, Alec realizes his mistake in not supporting Janet's cause and rallies Hetty and other townsfolk to sign the petition. Ultimately, Janet's determination leads to a wage increase for the cannery workers, thanks to her efforts and Mrs. McCorkindale's pragmatic approach.
