In this humorous episode set away from the ranch, Ben, Hoss, and Joe head to San Francisco to deliver a herd of cattle. Ben cautions his sons to stay alert in the bustling city, reminding them, "This isn’t the Ponderosa!" Ironically, it’s Ben himself who ends up getting shanghaied, leaving his sons to mount a rescue mission.
