S04E19 Time Out of Mind

Title: Time Out of Mind Plot: Nikita is administered a hallucinogenic drug that distorts her perception of reality. While dining at a restaurant, she envisions a man approaching with a knife, an event that never takes place. One moment, she believes her hands are stained with blood, only to find them clean the next. This drug was intended to facilitate her entry into the institution housing David French, the son of Crystal French. Still under the drug's influence, Michael intervenes to extract her from the mission before chaos ensues. After undergoing electroconvulsive therapy, she loses all memory of the mission and drifts off to sleep, convinced she remains within the institution, though she is actually safe in her own apartment.
