In an unprecedented moment for the beloved reality show, design team leader Ty Pennington reached out to the Anderson Family while they were on vacation to inform them that the team had failed to meet the deadline for their home makeover in South Central Los Angeles. Over two consecutive episodes, the crew rallies to support a young man whose dreams of a professional basketball career were abruptly halted.
