S06E02 The Akers Family
This week, the EM:HE team is called to assist a family in West Chester, Ohio, facing serious health challenges. Four out of the five family members are battling potentially life-threatening conditions. Two of them suffer from Crohn's Disease, while the other two have Spinal Muscular Atrophy. Eight-year-old Brooke, who uses a wheelchair, shines as a cheerleader and takes center stage as the true inspiration of this episode.
