Brandon encounters Jack Canner, a homeless veteran he met at the beach club, digging through a dumpster behind the Peach Pit. He decides to invite Jack to join his family for Thanksgiving dinner, but tensions arise when Jim confronts him, accusing Jack of neglecting his family duties and hiding behind his military service.
