In Cairo, Egypt, Julia and a group of her colleagues are taken hostage by Madame Masque, Tony's ex-lover. Driven by her obsession to locate the Golden Sepulcher of Isis as a remedy for her scarred face, she becomes consumed by the spirit of Isis. This unexpected possession leads to a fierce confrontation, compelling Iron Man to step in and battle against her.
