Summer was once a season of joy, but now it’s all about responsibilities. Kevin works alongside Paul at a Chinese eatery when he stumbles upon a Christmas card from Cara, inspiring him to head to the lake for a visit. Reluctantly, Paul must join since Kevin is behind the wheel. Kevin hopes to relive the fantastic memories of last summer, but their outing takes unexpected turns that challenge his nostalgia.
