Kevin is reluctant to join his family's yearly holiday gathering, feeling out of place since all his friends are out of town. Meanwhile, Jack is swamped with work, and Norma is preoccupied with college. As the party unfolds, tensions rise between Jack and Norma over various issues. When Jack dispatches Kevin and Wayne to pick up supplies, they brace themselves for chaos upon their return home.
