S02E08 Episode 8
In a tense elimination round, four chefs must impress judges Monica Galetti and Gregg to secure their chance to cook for Michel. They start with a skills test that involves shucking three oysters and crafting an omelette of their choosing to showcase their culinary talents. The three chefs who make it through then tackle two additional challenging assignments in front of an eager Michel and Gregg. They have just 50 minutes to whip up two dishes featuring quail as the main ingredient, followed by the task of recreating classic dishes: paella and Portuguese custard tarts.
