As the Heck household literally crumbles around them, Frankie and Mike contemplate abandoning their homeownership and relocating the family to an apartment. Simultaneously, Axl attempts to pull a fast one on Frankie by feigning illness to skip a school test, only to later persuade her that he’s healthy enough to go to a party that night. Meanwhile, Sue and her on-again, off-again boyfriend Brad decide to take on the task of creating a school skit that highlights the dangers of texting and driving, while Brick lightens the mood by quoting Shakespeare.
