Cells at Work! CODE BLACK
S01E10 Stomach Ulcer, Friendship, and Loss
Red Blood Cells are called into action for a critical emergency. They rush to deliver as much oxygen as possible, only to find that the stomach is suffering from a severe ulcer and is dangerously compromised. If the serosa ruptures, it could lead to catastrophic failure of the stomach. The excessive release of gastric acid poses a life-threatening risk at any moment, yet the Red Blood Cells persist in their mission to provide oxygen. Meanwhile, the gastric mucosa continues to deteriorate, and inflammation escalates. Just when things seem dire, a formidable foe emerges.
