As they investigate, a serious malfunction arises during the system's testing, causing it to seize control of the ship. Meanwhile, Meg arrives on the scene and collaborates with other technicians to hack the system and restore control over the compromised ship. The events unfold in Okinawa, Japan, and the Japanese Sea.
