Title: The Originals Plot: Receiving an enigmatic warning about a conspiracy aimed at him in New Orleans, Klaus returns to the city his family once founded. His inquiries lead him to reconnect with Marcel, his former mentee, who now rules the city's humans and supernaturals with unchallenged authority. Eager to assist his brother in seeking redemption, Elijah follows Klaus and discovers that Hayley is also in the French Quarter, searching for her roots, but she has been captured by a formidable witch named Sophie. Meanwhile, in Mystic Falls, Damon and Stefan continue their plans for Elena, while Katherine unexpectedly shows her vulnerable side to Rebekah, asking her to convey a message.
