S03E11 Make Room for Caddy
When Bernie's in-laws come to visit, the usual tension rises as Bernie and Wanda's dad, Lloyd, engage in their typical arguments. Wanda pleads with Bernie to be kinder to Lloyd, as her parents are struggling financially and unable to purchase a new Cadillac. Despite Bernie offering to buy the car, Lloyd turns it down, insisting he wants a luxury model instead. Through a series of flashbacks, the backstory of their contentious relationship unfolds, revealing how Bernie met Wanda and the disapproval Lloyd had for his daughter dating a comedian who entertained on the subway.
