Convinced he is the king of pranks, Bernie is taken down a notch when his neighbor Carl Reiner, along with Wanda and the kids, collaborate to pull off an elaborate ruse. They trick Bernie into thinking he has poisoned Carl's cherished dog. Just when Bernie thinks the joke is over, Ashton Kutcher arrives, revealing the truth and ensuring Bernie learns a valuable lesson about overstepping boundaries in the world of pranks.
