Motivated by Ralph's story of his father's rise in the mob, Jackie Jr. takes the plunge into organized crime by planning a heist at a neighborhood poker game. Meanwhile, Melfi helps Tony recognize the psychological similarities between his tumultuous relationship with Gloria and his bond with his mother, making it increasingly difficult for him to maintain his connection with his "crazy love."
