Kimble finds himself in a romantic relationship with ex-recording artist Gail Martin, oblivious to the fact that she is aware of his hidden past and the $10,000 bounty on his head. Alongside her other partner, Alan Bartlet, Gail devises a sinister plan to murder Alan's affluent wife, Norma, a former golf champion now reliant on a wheelchair. They intend to frame Kimble for the crime, aiming to not only secure the reward for his capture but also gain access to Norma's considerable fortune.
