In the woods, the witches of Salem's coven gather, leaving Mary and Tituba behind, and come to a unanimous decision: they must remove a significant threat—Alden. At the same time, Alden and Cotton begin to understand the perilous nature of the enigmatic object they found, deciding to use it to capture something far more critical. Meanwhile, Mary discovers that her coven has been scheming in her absence, leading to a shift in the dynamics between her and Mercy, as their relationship becomes increasingly complicated.
