S01E01 Pilot
Gil Grissom oversees the night shift of Las Vegas's top crime scene investigators. New to the team, Holly Gribbs has just graduated from the academy. Jim Brass, the unit's leader, tries to intimidate Gribbs into leaving CSI. Catherine Willows, a dedicated CSI and single mother, is Grissom's right-hand. Meanwhile, Warrick Brown and Nick Stokes are vying to crack their 100th case for a promotion to CSI 3. Grissom delves into a murder disguised as a suicide with scant evidence. Warrick and Catherine handle a case involving a drunk who trespasses into a home and ends up shot. Nick interviews a man who was drugged and robbed by a woman he picked up.
