An eerie alien force moves unseen through Chicago, leaving a trail of chaos as it claims the lives of a petty thief and an enthusiastic UFO believer. This otherworldly entity boasts hurricane-like power, emits a vast electromagnetic field, and has a peculiar appetite for lead, electronic devices, and the bone marrow of living creatures. Kolchak embarks on a mission to track these aliens from an electronics store to an observatory and finally to Lincoln Park, hoping to stop them before they strike again. His camera might hold the secret to their vulnerability, but initially, he misjudges it. Determined, Carl follows the aliens and cleverly avoids becoming their next victim before they finally vanish.
