In a playful homage to the news industry, Barbara Walters, Sam Donaldson, Ted Koppel, and Dan Rather engage in a lively musical performance. Woody Allen confesses he isn't who everyone thinks he is. Seeking attention, George H. W. Bush inadvertently tumbles into a well, prompting Fred to come to his rescue, though his heroic act quickly fades in light of the buzz surrounding Sean Penn and Madonna's breakup. Meanwhile, Sam Donaldson dreams up an ideal presidential candidate, transforming Fred into an exaggerated version of himself, while Rich Hall drops by D.C. Follies to share his quirky sniglets with the audience.
