S01E07 Conversions

The arrival of a missionary in Avonlea captivates the children. Sara becomes upset upon learning that Peter, the boy they’ve hired, has “no religion” and decides to encourage him to attend church. When Peter catches the flu, the kids begin to understand the true value of life. Meanwhile, Hetty and Olivia start to see Peter as more than just a worker, treating him more like one of their own. Eventually, Peter joins the King children at school, solidifying their bond even further.
