S11E22 Pika and Goliath!
Ash and his companions encounter Sho, a young trainer with both a Pichu and a Raichu. He mistakenly thinks Ash's Pikachu is a wild Pokémon. After facing a formidable rival, Ash and Pikachu are once again faced with the decision to evolve into Raichu, reminiscent of their experience at the Vermillion City Gym. Paul observes Ash's loss and criticizes him for being defeated by such a strong opponent, but Ash later gets the chance to prove himself in a rematch, redeeming his earlier defeat.
