Melman offers support to Becker, who finds himself caught in the crossfire of his parents' divorce. Sifuentes decides to resign after McKenzie undermines his defense of a woman who could potentially scandalize one of McKenzie’s clients. Perkins finds a stray dog, which surprisingly captures Brackman’s affection. In a tense moment, Van Owen steps in to help Kuzak, who faces arrest for his disrespectful behavior towards the police.
