Drowning in Hershberg's workload and plagued by guilt over his passing, Kuzak erupts at his coworkers, facing serious repercussions for his handling of a manslaughter case and jeopardizing Van Owen's weekend plans. Meanwhile, Sifuentes's brilliant young client develops feelings for Melman as he works on fixing the firm's faulty phone system. Kelsey secures a significant account for the firm, igniting jealousy in Markowitz, who suspects the client may have personal intentions towards her. Initially resistant to Sifuentes's offer of assistance with Hershberg's cases, Kuzak eventually accepts, leading to Sifuentes negotiating a favorable outcome for their client.
