Kenshin has a vivid dream that brings back memories of the Shinsengumi, the formidable swordsmen he battled during his time as the Hitokiri Battosai. Troubled by these recollections, he wonders why they have resurfaced. Meanwhile, a stranger with striking eyes arrives at the Kamiya Dojo, finding it empty since Kenshin, Kaoru, and Yahiko are away. The visitor encounters Sanosuke, who is unexpectedly at the dojo. Introducing himself as Goro Fujita, a medicine seller, his true intentions remain unclear...
