Kenshin, Kaoru, and Yahiko head to Akabeko, a popular beef hot-pot eatery, where they stumble upon a fierce debate among democratic rights activists. The tension escalates when one activist hurls a sake bottle, striking Kenshin and sparking chaos. Just then, Sanosuke Sagara, who is also present, intervenes and effortlessly knocks out the troublemakers with a light flick to their foreheads. Intrigued by Kenshin's composure amidst the turmoil, Sanosuke leans in and asks, "Interested in a fight with me?"
