On April 19, 1931, in New York City, over 25 million pounds of fruits and vegetables flood into the market every two days, making it a lucrative target for criminals. Eliot Ness and his Untouchables have been assigned to New York to crack down on the produce market corruption. The situation escalates when Angelo Cestari, a respected produce dealer, is shot dead by a member of Terranova's gang. In the aftermath, Ness speaks with Tony Cestari, who reveals that his father refused to cooperate with Terranova like many others, ultimately leading to his tragic fate.
