Kuzak confronts disciplinary measures for failing to disclose that his adversary in a negligence case is unlicensed. Meanwhile, Brackman recruits a new associate to join the firm. Struggling with the aftermath of Holland's passing, Perkins turns to Van Owen and Ringstrom for support. The Brackmans come to terms with their divorce, discussing a financial settlement as they prepare to finalize the legal documents. In another storyline, Kelsey and Markowicz contemplate adoption after a series of unsuccessful attempts to conceive leads to an awkward situation with a chuckling Rollins and Sifuentes.
