In the case of union leader Gerald O'Hara, accused of killing his main opponent Dan Keaton, Matlock is infuriated when juror number seven, Harry Craven, claims he was bribed by Matlock to sway his vote. Fortunately, Julie, who knows Harry well, believes in his integrity and assists Matlock in clearing his name. Together, they uncover the truth behind the conspiracy, revealing that O'Hara has been unjustly accused by the very person who attempted to undermine Ben.
