Amy Adler, who had a troubled past as a juvenile delinquent, is now working as a photographer's assistant. When her employer is killed, she turns to Matlock for assistance. Although he typically avoids pro bono cases, there’s something intriguing about the spirited young woman that compels him to take on her case.
