S03E04 Baking in Paris
Christopher Kimball journeys to Paris to explore some unconventional baked treats. He stops by Rose Bakery to taste their famous Lemon-Almond Pound Cake and sits down with journalist Lindsey Tramuta, author of “The New Paris,” to discuss how expatriates are reshaping the culinary landscape of the city. Later, he heads to Le Petit Grain, where he enjoys a tart that combines traditional American flavors. Back in the kitchen, Erika Bruce whips up her take on the Lemon-Almond Pound Cake, while Bianca Borges replicates Petit Grain’s Salted Peanut and Caramel Tart.
