S01E01 Into the Clouds: Sitka Blacktail Deer

Steve is eager to venture into uncharted territory for his hunting expedition. He hires a float plane to drop him off at a rarely used landing site high in the Alpine zone of Alaska’s Coastal Rainforest. Alone for three days, he aims to hunt black tail deer amidst the wilderness. He faces numerous obstacles, including steep, rugged terrain, shifting fog, and nearly constant rain and snow. If he successfully bags a black tail, Steve looks forward to savoring a delicious Rock-Pounded tenderloin before the float plane returns to whisk him back to the comforts of civilization.
